FlexVM flexVDI suite allows to pause a running Guest. By "pausing" we mean pausing the Guest process in a state we can recover through the opposite proces "resume". This action does not dump the memory content to the disk, but keeps it in place, so RAM and CPU resources can are still being reserved. It is an nimediate immediate action.

In order to pause a Guest, select it and open the drop-down menu. Choose the Click on "Pause" option.

The Guest will immediately change its icon, showing it has gone transitioned from running state (Image Removed) to pause state (Image RemovedImage Added) to paused state (Image Added).

To resume a Guest that was paused, open its context menu, and click on the "Resume" option.

This action will cause the Guest to go on running in the same state it was when it was paused, without having to the load information from disk to memory.

Guest icon will change the from paused (Selección_058.pngImage Added) to running (Selección_059.pngImage Added).
