flexVDI suite allows to pause a running Guest. By "pausing" we mean pausing the Guest process in a state we can recover through the opposite process "resume". This action does not dump the memory content to the disk, but keeps it in place, so RAM and CPU resources can are still being reserved. It is an immediate action.
In order to pause a Guest, select it and open the drop-down menu. Choose the Click on "Pause" option.
The Guest will immediately change its icon, showing it has gone transitioned from running state ( ) to pause paused state ( ).
To resume a Guest that was leisurely select it and display paused, open its context menu, later and click on the "Resume" option.
This action will cause the Guest returns to go on running in the same state where he it was when he paused. Without it was paused, without having to make the process dump load information from disk to memory.
Guest icon will change the from paused ( ) to running ( ).
