Contacting flexVDI portal

Some systems before CentOS/Red Hat 7.8 have an old version of the CA certificates packages that does not include the one needed to access portal.flexvdi.com which provides licenses and subscriptions to flexvdi-config. If you get "Error opening a connection to https://portal.flexvdi.com/portal" message, try running:

# yum update -y ca-certificates

And it will solve the problem.

Contracts

Hosts must be subscribed with a contract in order to receive yum updates. This must be done during the installation process, but you can later update your contract details or even change your subscription credentials with the flexVDI Config tool. Select Subscription on the main menu:
