Suspending/restoring Guest
flexVDI allows you to suspend a Guest, and store its state in the disk. flexVDI Manager does not release RAM and CPU resources, so they will still being reserved for the suspended Guest.
This action is slower than "pausing" a Guest, because data are dumped to disk. The benefit provided by this action is that you can perform actions at the file level without corrupting the data. When you restore the Guest, all the processes will resume their execution at the point they were before suspending it.
To perform this action on a Guest, click the "Suspend" option in its drop-down menu.

Restoring is the opposite to suspending. This operation leaves the Guest in he state it was before its suspension. To restore the Guest click on "Restore" on its drop-down menu.
The Guest status icon will change from suspended (
) to running ( ).
