Failures happen and flexVDI is not alien to them. Backing up your flexVDI platform is crucial to be able to recover from a data loss failure. There are two things that must be preserved:
- The flexVDI Manager database.
- The Guests' images.
This chapter will explain how to make a backup of and recover a flexVDI Manager instance, and will give an example of how to back up Guests' images with Bacula.
