Pausing / Resuming a Guest

flexVDI suite allows to pause a running Guest. This action does not dump the memory content to the disk, but keeps it in place, so RAM and CPU resources are still reserved. It is an immediate action.

In order to pause a Guest, select it and open the drop-down menu. Click on "Pause".

The Guest will immediately change its icon, showing it has transitioned from running state () to paused state ().

To resume a Guest that was paused, open its context menu, and click on the "Resume" option.


This action will cause the Guest to go on running in the same state it was when it was paused, without having to the load information from disk to memory.

Guest icon will change the from paused () to running ().
